MK17 1st STAGE
The drained control chamber provides better cold performance than any other diaphragm regulator. The design of the diaphragm prevents the entry of water into the mechanism of the 1st stage and guarantees trouble-free operation even under the coldest conditions.
The patented housing cap with grooves acts as a heater and increases the surface area for heat exchange with the water to warm up the internal components.
The balanced technology ensures consistent performance at all bottle pressures at any depth and optimizes 2nd stage performance for effortless breathing.
Two opposite high-pressure outlets - The arrangement of the high and low pressure outlets is also crucial for diving comfort. Two opposite high-pressure outlets enable the individual positioning of the 1st stage (pointing upwards or downwards). This allows the instruments to be positioned either to the right or to the left and allows more freedom in the head and neck area.
Multiple low-pressure outlets - For maximum freedom in ND tubing placement, the MK17 has four stationary LP outlets, including two RF outlets. HF outlets have 15% more air delivery than conventional outlets.
DIN / INT 1st stage configurations - To ensure worldwide compatibility, all SCUBAPRO regulators are available as a 200 bar INT version and as a 300 bar DIN version.
Externally Adjustable Medium Pressure - This allows authorized SCUBAPRO service technicians to fine-tune or adjust after maintenance without disassembling the 1st stage from the outside.
